Axie Infinity's Ronin Bridge Hackers Have Started Transferring Stolen Ether

The perpetrators of the crypto industry's biggest exploit have begun transferring some of their stolen wealth through an anonymity service.

There have been some changes in blockchain addresses associated with the Axie Infinity Ronin bridge hack in the last month.

Within the last few hours, several transactions have been made from suspicious ethereum addresses. The first was a transfer of 1,000 ETH worth about $3.5 million to another address.

Several additional 100 ETH transactions followed, all of which went to the Tornado Cash ethereum blending service. The moves were discovered by Chinese crypto expert Colin Wu on Monday morning.

Tracking Stolen Cryptocurrency

Criminals rarely use large exchanges, as most of them now require strict KYC (know your customer) processes. Even companies that do not offer legal conversions are forced to comply with global regulations. However, some assets are being transferred to exchanges such as FTX, Firecoin, CryptoCom and others, all threatening action.
